Everyone longs to be truly known, loved and cared for. We desire family connection and deep friendships. Yet for many, this feels elusive. Even in the church. Although Jesus said our love for one another will prove to the world we are his disciples, many of us in the church don't know more than a few people by name, let alone anything else about them. Jesus knew the power and importance of a band of brothers, a community of faith. He asked twelve to do life with him. It changed each of them, and it changed the world.
