Christmas is a season of making wish lists and fulfilling hopes and dreams. As kids it’s all about the presents. When you’re a kid, you can’t just buy yourself whatever you want. You have to ask for it or wish for it and hope you get it at Christmas. As we get older, we still like things, but we realize that the best things in life aren’t things. They can’t be bought on Amazon or brought down the chimney by Santa Claus. What we really want doesn’t fit under a tree or in a box. They are the gifts from God that can only be wrapped in our soul.
